The Thirst Labs, Inc. (“Thirst Labs”) websites (collectively, the “Website”), all other products and services, including mobile applications, owned, controlled or offered by Thirst Labs, and all content offered as part thereof, are collectively referred to herein as the “Services.” Subscribers, account holders, customers, users, and others who download, access, use and/or subscribe to the Services (“you”) agree to the following privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”). The Privacy Policy should serve as an accessible guide to the information we collect during your use of the Services. By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy, and you represent that you are over 18 years of age.
COLLECTED INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU
Thirst Labs requires certain pieces of personal information in order to operate as designed. Required information for use by users of the Services may include, but is not limited to: e-mail address, name, list of web pages viewed.
ADDITIONAL COLLECTED INFORMATION
Thirst Labs will also collect non-personally identifiable information. This will typically include browser or platform type, IP address, referring site, list of search terms entered, list of pages clicked on, and the date and time of each visitor request. Thirst Labs collects this data to best serve its users, including to personalize the newspaper and news updates you receive. This information will never be released on an individual basis, but may be released in a compiled manner.
Thirst Labs may also use cookies on the Website to track a user’s login information and interactions with the Services. Cookies are files or pieces of information that may be stored on your computer (or other internet enabled devices, such as a smartphone or tablet) when you visit a Unilever Site. A cookie will usually contain the name of the website from which the cookie has come from, the "lifetime" of the cookie (i.e. how long it will remain on your device), and a value, which is usually a randomly generated unique number. Cookies do not enable anyone to access personally identifiable information that you have not already given us. Thirst Labs primarily uses cookies to connect members with account information stored on Thirst Labs’ computers. This helps Thirst Labs deliver better and more personalized service. Thirst Labs also uses cookies to estimate Thirst Labs’ audience size for advertisers; to identify the areas of the site you visit; to hold session information; and to track user preferences. Cookies are part of the technology implemented by your browser. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. A “web beacon” is an electronic image, called a single-pixel (1x1) or clear GIF that recognizes certain types of information on your computer, such as your cookie number, time and date of a page view and description of the visited page. We may use web beacons on the Website or html-formatted emails in order to compile aggregate statistics about Website usage.
You can reset your browser to either notify you when you have received a cookie, or to refuse them all together. You may render some web beacons inactive by rejecting their associated cookies. If you disable or reject cookies, some of the functionality of the Services may be disabled or inaccessible.
Additionally, Thirst Labs collects information from its mobile application users who have installed our mobile application. Any entries made on mobile applications will be used to optimize the Services, manage accounts, for research and analysis, to communicate with users and to develop content. This information will never be released on an individual basis, but may be released in a compiled manner.
